Operation Rules of the International Students’ Kitchen

1. 외국인 취사실 운영 목적은 제주대학교 외국인 재학생, 한국어과정 학생(연수생) 중 문화적, 종교적 이유로 식사에 어려움을 겪는 학생들에게 취사 공간을 제공하고자 하는 것이다.

The purpose of the establishment of the international students’ kitchen is to provide a suitable place for the international students and students in the Korean language program who have cultural and religious limits in meal consumptions.

2. 운영 시간은 6:00 – 24:00로 한다.

Opening hours are 06:00~24:00.

3. 외국인 취사실 이용자(이하 ‘이용자’로 한다)는 제주대학교 학생생활관에 거주하는 외국인 재학생, 한국어과정 연수생으로 사전에 생활관장으로부터 이용 허가를 받은 자에 한하며, 허가받지 않은 외부인은 이용할 수 없다.

The use of the international students’ kitchen is strictly limited to foreign students and Korean language class students residing in the dormitory and having the permission from the dormitory director.

4. 이용자는 각 국가별 대표를 선임하고, 외국인 취사실 관련 사항들은 대표를 통해 학생생활관에 전달한다.

It is necessary for the international students' kitchen users to elect representatives of each country and these representatives will communicate the opinions on behalf of each country to the dormitory authorities regarding the kitchen.

5. 외국인 취사실은 이용자부담원칙에 따라 이용자는 이용료를 납부하여야 한다.

Kitchen users should pay for their usage of the international students' kitchen according to the designated principles.

6. 공용물품 이외 모든 개인 용품은 이용자 자신이 구비하여야 한다. 개인 물품 중 전자제품 반입 시, 학생생활관의 사전 승인을 받아야 한다.

All the cooking utensils should be purchased individually and any additional personal electronic appliances must be approved by the dormitory office before using them in the kitchen.

7. 국가별 대표는 매달 마지막 주 금요일까지 전체 대청소(매월 1회 이상 실시)를 포함하는 익월 청소계획서를 학생생활관 행정실에 제출하여야 하며, 외국인 취사실 청결상태를 항상 유지하도록 관리하여야 한다.

Representatives of each country for the international students’ kitchen users must submit their daily cleaning plans (including the plan for the monthly general cleaning) to the dormitory office and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the international students' kitchen at all times.

8. 이용자의 부주의로 인한 공용물품 훼손 및 파손 시, 이용자가 변상한다.

Users must fully compensate for any damages incurred on the public appliances while using them.

9. 외국인 취사실 내 음주 및 흡연은 금한다.

Smoking and drinking is strictly prohibited in the international students' kitchen premises.

10. 이용자는 외국인 취사실 내 공용물품을 외부로 이동시킬 수 없다.

Users are not allowed to take any public appliances outside of the international students' kitchen.

11. 외국인 취사실 운영에 따른 벌칙 규정은 별첨 1) 『외국인 취사실 벌점 규정』에 따른다.

Penalties for any violation against the international students' kitchen usage will strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the ‘Penalty points of the international students' kitchen’.

※경고 : 1회차 경고, 2회차 : 공지일로부터 7일 이용 금지, 3회차 : 공지일로부터 30일 이용 금지

- 1st Violation: Warning issued

- 2nd Violation: Banned from the date of notification for 7 days

- 3rd Violation: Banned from the date of notification for 30 days
